What is Floating?

Floating takes place in a float tank at our Floating Point facility, also known as a sensory deprivation tank or isolation tank. Imagine a private, state-of-the-art bathtub designed for complete relaxation. These tanks are typically 230 cm long and 140 cm wide, providing ample space for comfort. They are designed for easy use, with free-flowing air and doors that never lock or latch, ensuring a safe and inviting experience.

Inside the tank, about 30 cm of water is mixed with 420 kg of Epsom salt, creating an ultra-buoyant solution even more supportive than the Dead Sea. This enables you to float effortlessly, with your body suspended about halfway in and halfway out of the water.

The water is heated to skin temperature (35.3°C), making it nearly impossible to differentiate between where your body ends and the water begins. The tank is also soundproof and, when the lights are turned off, completely dark, offering a serene escape from sensory input.

In this unique environment, you’ll experience no gravity, no touch, no sight, and no sound—just a pure state of blissful nothingness.
